A very simple OOC (three people, no tools)

While I loved the discussion about the full OOC tool stack, sometimes the tools and tactics can obscure the underlying essentials.

So here’s the simplest OOC I could imagine, able to deliver value with just two members, one host, and nothing fancier than a whatsapp group:

I think in the cold start problem (the book you recommended) slack own data suggests the minimum size of a atomic network that's self-sustaining is 3 and needs to reach 2000 messages to hit retention point.

I do wonder what's the equivalent of the number and metric in a OOC for tools like circle.so even if 3 members is still the bare minimum

I think it would depend on where the value comes from... I'm thinking that Q&A/discussion wants more people (>12?), whereas progress toward the outcome can be quite valuable with just 2 or 3.
