Four milestones for creating an OOC from scratch

As you all continue with the exciting work of designing and launching your OOCs, I wanted to separate the big list of long-term tasks into a set of smaller, shorter-term milestones.

Here’s the walkthrough (and the final illustration follows for reference):

Left this comment instinctively at youtube then realized better to leave them here.
“You mention verbally about going from 0 to 40 members or up to 2k per month for v0 and v1. This highly specific quantitative metrics can serve as an aspirational outcome as well. I guess you put in a lot of effort into v0, v1. so maybe have two columns to your aspirational steps. your original v0, v1 in one column, then the other column serves as what kathy sierra says knowing where you are relative to the map.

Also the step bridge behavior under heartbeat.. would be great to have examples.”

I feel like doing something like a critical path map of your v0. Does that make sense?

i'm thinking for now the member context is best expressed as a sales page / "not-logged-in post" on Circle

needs to be easily editable as i refine it based on conversations w new members

so in a sense, if i can
• get my good-enough of the member context poast ready
• go ahead and lock the rest of the circle site
• get my good-enough Spaces design set up

... i can go ahead and move to recruiting my first handful of members and manually onboarding them

which means i'll be at v1 🥳

meta: just having a clear checklist of what needs to happen to move me from v0 to v1 feels like my first win within this community

I really like that a lot of the essential(green) stuff is front loaded, so one can get up and running and incrementally improve as one has time and when it’s fitting, without actually having to worry if there any parts missing!

I am executing according to the green sub milestones in this post. This is my latest attempt as of 2022-03-15 Tuesday
